All of my paintings come from personal experiences in my life. Many come from traveling to different parts of the world, or around our beautiful country, even things in my own backyard, like the New Orleans French Quarter and the beauty of Cajun Country. It is a privilege to capture those special moments for others to enjoy.
I graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Art Education, and worked in commercial art for several years. I drew womens clothing newspaper ads for a variety of stores, including JC Penney. I began painting in oils when I was 13 years old, and now Watercolors are my preferred medium . The beauty of watercolor is very unique.
