This beautiful Massai woman was in the marketplace in Nairobi, Kenya. I took her photo and painted it when we returned home. Under "Photos" you can see a photograph of my husband buying jewelry from her.

"Massai Warrior"  was painted after my first trip to Kenya Africa.  This Warrior was our guard outside of our tents, keeping  wild animals  from entering our tents.  I thought he was very impressive with all his colorful beads and red tunic. I knew he would be my first painting from that Africa trip.
