Artist’s comments: I painted this picture because I wanted something big and bright to hang over my mantle for Christmas.  But I liked it so much, I leave the original hanging over my fireplace all year ! At Christmas I group a variety of live poinsettias under it .  So many people asked me for a print of this piece, that I made it so everyone can enjoy the beauty of these joyous colors.  Since red is such a popular decorating color this year, it fits into many decors
